A whole new feel, without redoing the whole kitchen. ✨

Sometimes, a kitchen doesn't need a complete renovation to feel brand new; a few thoughtful upgrades can make all the difference.

This kitchen started with an all-white finish that felt a little cold and lost in the space. By introducing warm woodgrain to the wall cupboard doors and the island's plant-on panels, we brought a new sense of warmth, character, and a more welcoming feel to the heart of the home.

We also transformed the former microwave cupboard into a beautiful w**e cupboard, with an LED channel along both sides, creating a stylish feature for displaying w**e bottles. 🍷

Even the smaller details mattered; we adjusted the existing doors so they lined up neatly again, showing how something as simple as realigning cupboard doors can refresh the overall look of a kitchen.

The result? A warmer, more inviting kitchen that feels like a completely new space — without the expense of replacing everything.

Project Spotlight | d6 Group

A recently completed project for d6 Group ✨

We loved bringing this space together with a combination of warm wood finishes, black steel detailing and the character of the exposed brickwork.

The shelving was designed to complement the industrial feel of the space while still keeping it warm, practical and inviting — a perfect example of how cabinetry and custom joinery can become part of the overall interior design.

This is just the first look… 👀
The LED lighting is still to be installed, and we'll be back in a few months to capture the finished space in all its glory.

We can't wait to share the final result with you!

🌿 PIKASSO TIP OF THE WEEK

Not all drawer runners are created equal.

When planning a kitchen, it's easy to focus on the doors, colours and worktops—but what's happening inside your drawers matters too.

From standard ball-bearing runners to soft-close ball-bearing runners and premium undermount runners, each option offers a different level of functionality, comfort and finish.

✨ Standard ball-bearing: A practical, budget-friendly option.
✨ Soft-close ball-bearing: Smoother, quieter closing with added protection for your cabinetry.
✨ Undermount runners: A premium, concealed option for a clean look and smooth operation.

The right choice depends on your budget, storage needs and the level of finish you want.

Because good cabinetry isn't just about what you see on the outside—
it's what's inside that makes the difference.

💬 Which drawer runner would you choose for your kitchen?

🌿 Pikasso Tip of the Week

This week's tip: Be gentle with your worktops.

Your kitchen worktops are one of the hardest-working surfaces in your home—but the wrong cleaning products can slowly dull or scratch the finish.

For everyday cleaning, use a soft microfibre cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid products that contain abrasive grains or scouring particles unless they're specifically recommended by the worktop manufacturer.

A little extra care today can help keep your worktops looking beautiful for years to come.

Because a beautiful kitchen should work just as well as it looks.

💬 What do you use to clean your kitchen worktops? Let us know in the comments!

🌿 Pikasso Tip of the Week

This week's tip: Don't use a soaking wet mop around your kitchen cabinets.

It might seem harmless, but over time, excess water can be absorbed into your kitchen's kickplates, causing them to swell and eventually need replacing.

A simple habit like wringing out your mop properly before cleaning can help protect your cabinetry and extend its lifespan.

For even greater peace of mind, consider upgrading to aluminium kickplates. They're water-resistant, won't swell, and are available in brushed silver, black, and gold to complement your handles and complete your kitchen's look.

Because a beautiful kitchen should work just as well as it looks.

💬 Did you know something as simple as a wet mop could damage your cabinetry?
