Our customer owns both the MadKon 600S and the Ammo Box Braai, and as he puts it, one is even hard at work north of Mile 108 in Namibia.

We love seeing our braais out there doing what they were designed to do — travelling, exploring and making good food in incredible places.

HER FIRST CLIENT… AND WE DECIDED TO PRANK HER!

We were so lucky to have our friend stand in for us at the expo, and this was her very first client.

Except… he wasn't really there just to look at the braai.

We decided to have a little fun and sent him in with a problem:

“I want to return my MadKon Braai. I’m struggling to close it.”

Her response?

“NO WAY! If I can open and close it, you can too!”

And just like that, she was thrown straight into the deep end!

The funny part? She had never used a MadKon Braai before. She had no experience with it, but she didn't let that stop her for a second.

She figured it out, showed him how it works and handled her very first client with confidence.

And honestly… we couldn't be prouder.

She is not only beautiful, but witty, confident and a natural with people. She connects so easily, takes on every challenge and doesn't let something new intimidate her.

Thank you for standing in for us, jumping in with both feet and helping make the expo so special.

You had never used a MadKon before, but you didn't let that set you back. You took on every challenge with confidence — and you did an amazing job.

We are incredibly grateful to have a friend like you.

Before MadKon became what it is today, there was the first prototype — now standing next to the MadKon Mini Braai to show the evolution.
Built from steel and made to last, but too heavy to be practical. 🔥

Konrad knew it could be better. By using 3CR12 stainless steel and adding more memory bends, he created a braai that’s virtually indestructible and ready for any adventure.

12 years later, MadKon is proudly part of so many happy memories shared around the fire.
