Why replace it when you can restore it? 🪵✨

Over two weeks, we gave the wooden tables at Bootlegger Tokai a new lease on life with Colortone Wood Coating, bringing back their vibrancy while protecting them for many more coffees, conversations and memories to come☕️

And because Bootlegger had a business to run, we refurbished just one or two tables at a time, keeping disruption to a minimum.

A great wood restoration starts long before the first coat goes on. Proper sanding and preparation is one of the most important (and often overlooked!) parts of table and furniture refurbishment. Each table was carefully sanded to remove the old varnish and smooth out as many imperfections as possible before coating.

Then came 3 coats of Colortone, allowing each coat to dry fully before applying the next and lightly sanding between each coat.

The result? Wooden tables that look vibrant and refreshed, with a sealed, practical finish ready to handle everyday café life.

Because you don’t always need a new table. Sometimes, an old one just needs a little Colortone to make it new again 🤎
