Yay!!! 🥳 Ons Huisie will be resuming soon!! Life had a few challenges we had to deal with in between but we have managed to find the time and energy to start work again!

Thanks for all the messages of concern and to see when the next lot was out. - not much longer now 🫶🫶🥂🥂

A little late as we’ve been busy celebrating 🥳 - but how? Just how is it that our youngest turned 21 on Saturday??!!
A life loving, animal adoring, dog whispering, tea savouring, cap Classique enthusiast, caring, compassionate, accepting and all inclusive delight who has wisdom beyond her years!

With her always observant eyes and open heart, she has touched many people’s hearts and lives with her kindness and compassion and gracious presence. Make no mistake, the sass is there making sure nobody walks over her!

We love you so very much Caylee♥️♥️ we pray that your heart and mind will always guide you as you traverse the paths in this journey and adventure called life! Happy birthday young lady! May the beauty you see in life never be tainted but ever growing!

Ola! From beautiful Portugal! On our afternoon supply run we came across a little Wine shop in Foz Do Arelho called Lagoa Wine Shop & Wine Bar
What an absolute treat! We tried 4 different red wines and each one was amazing! The owner changes the wine ‘menu’ every month after carefully choosing wines to showcase. They also do a wine tasting event once a month with a featured estate / brand.
Well worth the visit!! And the Charcuterie board was heavenly too 🤩🤩

He has a great selection of both reds and whites from the different wine regions in Portugal so the choice is a hard one on what to buy!

Definitely that time of year again!! Weather in the Western Cape has been rather chilly of late and seems the next few days will be even chillier 🥶

This inviting double sided fireplace is from a residential project we did a few years ago. We are fortunate enough to be doing phase 2 with these amazing clients in August 🥳🙌

rooms!
The calm away from home but still feels homey but a tad bit like a hotel! 😉 The spaces we wanted guests to feel comfortable yet pampered. Look forward to falling asleep in and awaken feeling refreshed and at peace.
If I can use a real oxymoron here - bold calm (!) colours were used in each space. All the colours used have an earthy feel. Grounded but not dull. Paired with elegant lighting fittings and some interesting little bits here and there to add a bit of interest and whimsy.
(Abstract crocodile trays in gold on each dressing table for example 😁)
Each bedroom has a full en suite bathroom, spacious cabinetry for your holiday clothes and a small counter with drawers with integrated fridges for the little extras you’d like to keep on hand.

Time for a nap maybe after looking those comfy beds again 😁😁

Reception area and lounge for - the welcome place. The area that sets the tone for guests and visitors as they arrive. It was really important to us to ensure this space exuded a sense of calm, a warm welcome , sophistication and understated elegance all while having a little fun.

We added a bold green to all the walls in the area and then added the dynamic and charming wall mural from . This combination along with very carefully selected larger pieces and curated decor, bring life into the area.

Oak shelves built into large unusable wall niches flanking the fireplace and this oak wood look was picked up in the mantle, the desk front, the legs of the entrance table and the standing lamp. A little invisible string connecting it all.

I rather like the space. And the feeling one gets when in it, is exactly how I imagined it should be. Shew 😬😂
