⚡ DAY THREE WITHOUT POWER—ONCE AGAIN ⚡
We unfortunately need to advise our clients that Nova Forge is once again on its third consecutive day without electricity.
This brings us to six full days without power in the past two weeks alone—and that does not include the additional outages when the municipality switches off different blocks as its own form of load reduction.
As a small, home-based manufacturing business, we depend entirely on electricity to operate our 3D printers, tools and finishing equipment. Every hour without power stops production, disrupts carefully planned schedules and makes it extremely difficult to provide reliable completion dates.
To every client waiting for an order: we are deeply sorry for the continued delays. Your work has not been forgotten or neglected. The moment electricity is restored and stable enough for us to operate our equipment safely, we will resume production and work as quickly as possible to catch up.
But this post is about more than our business.
We want to give a heartfelt shout-out to every family, elderly person, parent, employee and small-business owner who continues to struggle through these relentless outages.
Behind every dark house is a real person trying to cope—families losing food, parents struggling to prepare meals, vulnerable people sitting without basic necessities, employees unable to work and businesses losing valuable production time and income.
To everyone charging phones wherever they can, making alternative plans, keeping businesses alive and trying to remain hopeful despite the uncertainty: we see you. We understand your frustration, exhaustion and worry. You are not struggling alone.
A special thank-you to the neighbours, friends and local businesses helping one another through it all. Community kindness cannot repair failing infrastructure, but it reminds us that even during the darkest days, we still have one another.
The truth is that trying to operate a business under these conditions is becoming increasingly unsustainable. Parys may be beautiful, but we honestly cannot recommend that anyone move here to start a business while the electricity supply remains this unreliable.
To our clients, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued patience, kindness and understanding. Your support means more to us than we can adequately express.
We are frustrated. We are exhausted. But we are still here—and we will keep doing everything within our power, even when we have none.
Sending strength to everyone affected. May our electricity, stability and peace of mind return soon. ❤️
