🧱Start with the subfloor — it makes all the difference.
Herringbone highlights every imperfection, so a clean, dry, level subfloor isn’t optional — it’s the foundation of a seamless finish.
🧱Think about placement before you start.
The pattern’s centerline should align with your main sightline — your doorway, a feature window, whatever draws the eye first. This sets the flow for the whole room.
🧱Budget for more than a straight-lay floor.
More angled cuts means more offcuts and more labor time — but done right, it’s worth every cent.
And once it’s down — simple care goes a long way.
🧱Sweep or vacuum regularly, damp mop only, and skip the steam cleaner — excess moisture can loosen seams over time.

Get these right, and you’ll have a floor that lasts ✨

Ever wondered how vinyl flooring gets that seamless finish? 👀
This process is called vinyl welding.
A specialised hot-air welder fuses two sheets of vinyl flooring together using a vinyl welding rod, creating a strong, watertight, and hygienic seal. 🛡️

The result?
✅Waterproof
✅ Durable
✅ Hygienic
✅ Seamless

At Culemborg Flooring, it’s the attention to detail that ensures every installation is built to last. 🧱❤️
