Sometimes I feel like a juggler in a circus, with so many projects calling my name. Balance is my secret ingredient, though I admit, it’s a work in progress! Today, I’m sharing a little marketing magic, because honestly, I adore the creative dance of designing P.O.D websites
I loved the art of the Dutch artist Anton Pieck and still have some of his original work. And let’s be real, earning a few extra dollars is always a treat, especially when those dollars stretch like elastic in South Africa’s rand economy.
Creative writing is my happy place, though it does send me on wild research adventures. I often find myself diving into rabbit holes while crafting blog posts. Lately, I’ve embarked on a new journey: turning my chapters into audio files. Who knew my words would one day find their own voice?

Getting cosy with AI and all those website setups was a bit like learning to ride a bicycle—wobbly at first, but now I’m pedalling along. I remind myself to embrace new technology, but not let it whisk me away completely. After all, I still like to keep one foot in the real world!

Several years ago, I created this text design for Print-on-Demand T-shirts and tops on Amazon Merch by Amazon. Then many copied the design, which happens, but at least I did get commissions from the sales. It's also published on Zazzle and Redbubble. In between writing, I love being creative for the P.O.D websites, and that little money pays for treats.

My designs are not considered trendy, but that also applies to my visionary fiction novels, so who cares?

I only follow what my heart inspires me to do.

In my effort to create a design around a theme I have never engaged with before, I've come to realise that I felt a sense of disconnection from the cultures of the countries in which I have lived throughout the years. Despite my physical presence in those places, I struggled to truly immerse myself in their experiences and perspectives. It was fun giving it a go with a design.
