Throwback to our DIY Twister game!

Creativity doesn’t always need a canvas, a studio or hours of uninterrupted time. Sometimes, as a mom, creativity looks like taking what you have and turning it into something fun.

That’s what we loved about our DIY Twister experience at KKN Atelier—creating, playing and finding new possibilities in everyday things.

Motherhood has taught me that creativity is often less about having more and more about seeing differently.

Because sometimes the best creative moments are the ones you make in the middle of ordinary life.

For me, Art Circle is simply a space to come as you are, get creative and enjoy good company.

You don’t have to be an artist. You don’t have to know what you’re doing. You just need to be willing to try, make a little mess, have some laughs and enjoy the process.

For those who join us, I hope Art Circle feels like a little pause from the busyness of life—a place to connect, create, chat, learn something new and leave feeling a little lighter.

That’s what Art Circle is to me: good people, good conversations and the freedom to create.

For me, Atelier is about experiencing pause.

In a world that constantly tells me to rush, produce, achieve, and move on to the next thing, I wanted to create a space where I could slow down—and invite others to do the same.

A place where I can pause with a cup of coffee.
Pause through creativity.
Pause in meaningful conversation.
Pause to appreciate beauty.
Pause long enough to reconnect with myself.

I believe there is something powerful about giving ourselves permission to breathe, reflect, create, and simply be.

That is what KKN Atelier means to me.

It isn't only about the art, the workshops, the beautiful pieces, or the experiences we offer.

It's about creating moments where people can step away from the noise and experience pause.

Creativity is often more than making something beautiful.

Sometimes it is a way back to yourself.

In the middle of responsibilities, expectations, busy schedules, and life's challenges, it's easy to lose touch with parts of who God created you to be.

Creativity invites you to slow down, explore, imagine, create, and reconnect with what has been placed inside of you.

Whether it's painting, writing, crafting, designing, building, or creating something entirely new, the creative process has a way of revealing gifts, passions, ideas, and possibilities that may have been buried beneath the noise of everyday life.

After all, we were created in the image of a creative God.

When we create, we often rediscover parts of ourselves that have been waiting to be expressed.

Sometimes what looks like a simple creative activity is actually an invitation to remember who you are, what you carry, and what God has uniquely placed within you.
