From preparation to perfection! 🏗️✨

​Check out this amazing driveway transformation we recently completed.

​We started by laying a heavy-duty 150mm thick concrete base using a precise 1:3:3 mix (Cement : Crusher : 10mm Stone) for maximum durability. For the finish, we added a sleek, modern 2mm cementitious overlay for that seamless look.

​To add a touch of sophistication and define the space, we also incorporated a textured 150mm border and matching inserts – as seen clearly in the photos.

Another successful project completed.

This quick turnaround installation included a high-performance moisture barrier, a 3mm self-levelling system, and a durable 1mm epoxy top coat. The project was finished with a colour-matched painted polyurethane skirting border, delivering a seamless, durable, and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Heavy-Duty Driveway in Progress! đźš—đź’Ş

No shortcuts here. Today we are pouring a massive 150mm thick structural driveway for a client, engineered to handle heavy vehicle loads with absolute ease.

To guarantee maximum durability and a high-strength finish, we’re site-mixing a robust 1:2:2 ratio using 42.5N high-strength cement, crusher sand, and 10mm stone to hit a targeted 30–35 MPa.

Because we’re only pouring the first 12.7m x 4.35m lane today, accuracy is everything. We’re using temporary steel beams to guarantee a perfectly straight center edge, dropping in a 10mm expansion joint tomorrow, and hand-grooving key stress lines this evening to completely eliminate random shrinking cracks. Finished with a clean wood float for a durable, slip-resistant traction texture.

Once cured enough, a robust 2mm overlay will be added with a "mottled" finish.

Follow-up photos from today’s completed work.

This is how a late-December Sunday is well spent. đź’Ş

A total of 1,300m² completed — with ASP’s Primer Coat applied yesterday and the Top Coat in RAL 7042 installed today. We are extremely pleased with the final outcome; the finish speaks for itself.

A special thank you to Emile Venter from ASP for the exceptional service and for delivering material to cover the full 1,300m² in record time. The product performs and finishes beautifully.

Our second-to-last project of the year is nearing completion.

With only a few final finishing touches remaining, the main scope of work has been successfully completed.

The project involved thorough cleaning, removal of loose tiles, application of a scraper coat, and finishing with TAL UraFloor HT at a 3 mm thickness.

We’re now approaching the final stretch of the year and looking ahead to a well-deserved break in January

And with that, our final project for the year is officially underway.

Materials were supplied and delivered by ASP in record time — thank you for the outstanding service!

The team is currently busy with surface preparation, pushing hard to complete this phase before Christmas.

The process will include removal of all surface contamination, a full chemical wipe, followed by primer application and the final top coat.

More progress photos to follow over the next few days as the project takes shape.

As the year draws to a close and with most people preparing to shut down for the holidays, we are grateful to be commencing our second-to-last project of the year. We are truly thankful to remain busy during this period and for the continued trust and support from our clients and partners throughout the year.

This project consists of 350 m² of TAL UraFloor HT, and we look forward to delivering the same high standard of workmanship as always as we approach the end of another productive year.
