HandMade In Clarens We feel that every creation in AkaVRoo is as unique as the individual who made it.

AkaVroo is a small Design Studio / Arts & Crafts shop in a little Arts Village called Clarens, in the heart of the Eastern Free State. The shop started in 2016 as a platform for locals, especially locals from the township, to showcase their beautiful and unique creations to the public. The slogan we love to use is, "From Clarens Locals to Lesotho Villagers and Guest artists, we present to you all

things handmade." As for AkaVRoo as a design brand, our passion is to draw with fabric on fabric, whether on clothes we love to wear, a stunning statement bag or a nice décor cushion piece on your favourite couch. Every design we do is designed with fabrics we get from our favourite fabric shops to the quilting ladies in town that drop off their little scraps for us to play around with.. We love bringing something special to the table, and our aim is to ensure that every piece we create is unique and truly one of a kind design piece.
