A WEDDING SET-UP IN THE BUSH

Flowers, tables, canapés… and a few unexpected visitors!

From being introduced to a Velvet Ant (apparently the males fly while the females are wingless), to a bush snake popping in to say hello, followed by a scorpion making an appearance while setting up the canapés.

Just another day setting up a wedding in the bush! 😂

You never quite know what nature has in store, but that's all part of the adventure.

Wouldn't have it any other way. This is my happy place! ❤️

The joys of doing weddings in the bush🤎🤎🤎

Today I came across this "Velvet Ant" - I had never heard or seen one before .
The amazing rangers Zebra Hills Safari Lodge soon updated me on this creature. Their bite is worse than a bee sting.
Thank goodness I asked first before I let it crawl on my hand.

So happy to be doing what I love.

Candice & Brad | Part 1

A country wedding wrapped in the prettiest shades of pink and coral, but it was the laughter, love and sheer joy that truly stole the show.

From the very first moment to the last dance, this was one of those weddings where the fun never stopped — laughter echoing through the day, happy tears, big smiles and memories being made around every corner.

A beautiful celebration of two people who clearly know how to have fun, love deeply and bring everyone along for the ride.

A huge thank-you to everyone who generously contributed towards the SPCA "Annual Kennel Sleepover" for the voiceless animals.

Together, the SPCA has raised an incredible R220,000 through this initiative! 🐾

A big shout out goes to Jonothan Ogilvy from Ogilvy Management Rentals for their prize of a 2 night stay at Coral Point.

WE MADE THE NEWS! 🐾❤️

What an amazing surprise to see our SPCA Kennel Sleepover featured in the Northglen News!

On Saturday, 15 August, 27 of us will brave the cold and spend the night at the SPCA kennels to raise much-needed funds for the Durban & Coast SPCA, which is celebrating an incredible 130 years of service. 🐶🐱❤️

I’m so excited to be part of this for the very first time — and even more excited to be doing it for the animals who need us most.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported my campaign. Your donations, shares and encouragement mean so much. ❤️

There’s still time to get behind the cause and help me raise as much as possible!
