Bedroom Update, ready for the new season!
Gorgeous fabrics and finishes.

Lovely update, fresh and bright for summer ☀️🌱
We added some beautiful textured fabrics, combining prints and geometric patterns, and finished it off with a gorgeous Monn rug. The rug tied everything together so beautifully!

If your home needs a little update, send me a WhatsApp on 082 646 6681.

Sometimes, all it takes is a few new cushions and a beautiful rug to make your space feel brand new. ✨

Colour is inspiring and motivating. 🙌🏼 Although beige and greys are easy to pair things with, we need colour in our homes. Even in small doses, a candle or scatter cushion?
Colour is good for our mental health, we are drawn to different colours throughout our life depending on the support and care we need. Allow yourself to nurture yourself in your home with colour.

I did a small shop move around today, so thought I’d made a dramatic reel about it! 🤩

We all have different inspirations and themes that influence our homes, so I thought I’d start sharing a few. These are some of the ways I bring themes through using fabrics and paint colours.

I always say a room should be made up of 60% one colour, 20% another, and then 10% + 10% accent colours.

If you have more than this combination of colours, it could be why your room feels overwhelming, cluttered, or busy. When colours are used in equal amounts, it can also feel too much.

I’ll touch on this more in another video.

What do you think of this colour combination and scheme?
Leave a comment, I’d love to know.🙌🏼

Home projects always start off exciting… and then suddenly you’re awake at midnight questioning every decision 😂

Having a designer involved from the beginning just makes the process feel a little easier, calmer, and less “all on you”.

Sometimes it’s not about making a space “perfect”, it’s about having someone help you pull everything together, avoid the things you might regret later, and create a home that feels like you.

Working with a designer means:
• avoiding expensive mistakes before they happen
• creating a home that actually works for your lifestyle
• getting a cohesive look instead of disconnected rooms
• having access to trusted suppliers, fabrics & finishes
• saving time, stress, and decision fatigue

I love helping clients turn ideas into spaces that feel warm, functional, and lived in, from custom furnishings and upholstery to curtains, blinds, and all the finishing details that make a house feel like home.

Your fabric choices are doing more work than you think 👀

That “pretty fabric” on your couch?
It’s dealing with coffee spills, dogs, kids, sunlight, movie nights, naps, guests and everyday life 😅

Same with your curtains, dining chairs, cushions and headboards.

Not all fabrics are actually designed for interior use, and that’s usually where the difference shows over time. Fading, pilling, sagging, pulling, staining… we’ve all seen it.

Good interior fabrics are chosen not just for colour, but for durability, texture, comfort and performance too. Because a home should look beautiful and live beautifully.
Your interiors deserve fabrics that can handle real life!

If you’ve been unsure where to start with choosing fabrics for your home, this is your reminder to look beyond just the colour swatch, Book a consult to see what we have in our studio!
