Moving Still.

An art exhibition by Tango Bobo that explores the charcoal medium’s expressive qualities which allow the artist to move in between concrete, reflective and abstract observation.

The title refers to the tension between physical stillness and the movement of memory. Although the works depict seemingly fixed moments and places, their meaning is continually shifting through time, perception, and recollection. Suggesting that a still image can hold traces of movement - of people, experiences, emotions, and the persistence of memory.

Currently on show at CVD Art Gallery, 12 Jarvis Road, Cnr Barkley Road, Berea
Opening times: Mon - Fri 08:30 - 17:00. Sat 09:30 - 13:00
