After a lifetime in the furniture industry, it’s now time for me to trade my work clothes for something more comfortable as I enter the retirement phase of my life.

As we close the doors of our beloved Ascot Beds and Furniture shop for the last time today, I feel a mix of sadness and gratitude. I will always cherish my time in the furniture retail sector, but after more than three decades of hard work, I’m also looking forward to slowing down, spending more time with my family, and enjoying my retirement.

I would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all our loyal customers, many of whom have become friends over the years. Additionally, I want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing staff and wonderful suppliers. Thank you for the past 35 years; it has been a privilege to be part of this journey!
