My dream is that my art touches something in you, inspires some kind of shift or different thinking, or resonates with where you are in your life or where you aspire to be. I am a lover of beauty and find my joy in noticing the incredible miracles in nature, in the deep and meaningful connections with the people around me and in embracing life as an adventure to be lived with passion and abundance.

A perfect winter’s day at Tokara Wine Estate, installing my new giant totem ‘The Last Warm Afternoon’ with the IS Art Gallery. There’s something rather fitting about placing a work inspired by the turning of the seasons beneath clear blue skies and winter sunshine. This exhibition will be running for the next few months at the Tokara Restaurant & Deli delicatessen alongside lots of other incredible South African artwork.

I create large-scale bronze and crystal totems that are inspired by the intelligence of nature. Seedpods, shells, coral, stones, and other elemental forms are translated through fire and made by hand. Each sculpture is built with intention and in collaboration with master craftspeople, allowing the materials to guide the final form.

These totems are conceived as living markers: anchors between land and sky, antenna connecting humans to all that is.
