A spot for rugby, good company and a little downtime. 🏉 Swipe until the end to see the before.

We recently renovated this home bar, creating a space for the whole family to enjoy, whether it’s gathering to watch the rugby with friends, spending time together or simply unwinding at the end of the day.

From the new cabinetry and feature tiled floor, finished with a bronze strip border between the new and existing flooring, to the bespoke furniture, blinds, scatter cushions, ottomans and custom curtains and tracks, every detail was considered to bring the space together.

A space made for entertaining, relaxing and making memories at home.

Thinking about transforming a space in your home?

Let’s bring your vision to life.

A tired sofa deserves a second chance, but is reupholstery always the right choice?

There is a lot to consider when deciding whether to reupholster a piece of furniture. Worn-out foam, faded or damaged fabric, scratches from pets, sagging seats, loose springs, too many studs, mismatched scatter cushions or a frame that needs attention all play a part in the decision. We take the time to assess these details before recommending the best way forward.

At the House of Decor, our experience helps us guide you on whether your sofa is worth reupholstering or whether replacing it would be the better option.

We look beyond the fabric, inspecting the inside of the sofa to make sure the frame is sturdy and in good condition. We assess the foam, comfort, trim and overall design, helping you make an informed decision before committing to the process.

If reupholstery is the way to go, we will help you choose the right fabric, refine the details and create a finished piece that feels fresh, comfortable and right for your home.

Good furniture deserves careful consideration, and we are here to help you make the right choice.

Green is having a moment this spring, and we are not complaining. 🌿

From leafy plants and botanical prints to green-toned furniture, ceramics, cushions and decorative accessories, it’s one of those colours that brings a sense of life and calm into a space.

The best part? Green isn’t just a passing trend. From soft sage and olive to deeper forest and mossy tones, it has a timeless place in interiors and works beautifully alongside natural timber, stone, warm neutrals and layered textures.

Trends come and go, but green is here to stay.

This spring, bring a little more of the outdoors in. 🌿
