Blueberry infused White Wine Vinegar

Fresh Blueberry
White Wine Vinegar
Uses:
- You can use this in salad dressing or marinades, as a condiment, put it on ice cream, on yogurt, in iced tea, in cocktails, and in baked goods.
- It pairs well with fresh goat cheese, feta cheese, or Brie.
- You can also use it to add a gourmet touch to a fruit salad full of the freshest, most delicious seasonal fruit you can find.
- As a syrup, it’s fantastic in cocktails.
- Blueberry vinaigrettes and dressings are amazing in summer salads. Add some salty cheese, nuts, and fresh
- Blueberry Vinegar marinades are perfect with steak or chicken.

Vinaigrette / Dressing
Blend together: 1/2 cup of Canola Oil with 1/4 cup of blueberry vinegar and 2 spoons of honey
Meat Marinade
Steak
Mix together 1/3 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup blueberry vinegar, 1 tbsp honey, 1/4 cup of beer, 1 tbsp fresh Thyme, 1 tbsp lemon juice, Zest from half a lemon, Salt & Pepper to taste.
Place meat in a shallow glass dish. Pour the marinade over the meat and turn to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator, turning several times, for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours.
For a bit of heat in your steak add 1 tsp of cayenne pepper to the marinade
Chicken
Mix together 1 tsp of lemon zest, 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1/4 cup blueberry vinegar, 1/3 cup Chicken Broth & 1/3 cup olive oil. Score the chicken, pour the marinade into a ziplok bag, add the chicken pieces, squeeze air out of and seal the bag, massage the chicken in the bag and refrigerate for about 2 hours
Fruit Salad
Sprinkle 1 to 2 tsp of blueberry vinegar over your fruit salad
Ice Cream
In a small saucepan combine 4 tbsp Blueberry vinegar with 4 tbsp granulated sugar. Simmer for approx 5 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent it burning on
Allow to cool and drizzle over your favorite ice cream
