Modern Kilim carpets are woven using the same ancient technique as the traditional Oriental Kilim carpet...Kilim carpets have no pile so they do not fluff, and are easy to clean. An added bonus is that they have two sides and can be turned over and used if they become too dirty, which gives you 2 carpets in 1.
