FINALLY! It's been a long time coming, but our new website studioSALT.co.za is ready to be unveiled.

Ian and I wanted it to be more than a bunch of photos, and actually explain how we approach our work. We create spaces that support and enhance how our clients live, not arbitrary stylistic pastiches, and we only take on projects that look fun and clients we'd enjoy spending time with ... a far cry from our corporate days!! 😖 Hopefully the new website reflects these values.😄

Thank you to VISI magazine for featuring our client's astonishing home in its Design issue! It was a great marriage of interior architecture and decor, opening up the house and adding a master suite above to take advantage of views and provide a backdrop for a masterful combination of color, texture, and one-of-a-kind art.

Seeing its hidden potential, creative couple Lauren Shantall and Derek Eyden have transformed a neglected Mid-century box in Fish Hoek into a colourful retreat that suits their new post-COVID lifestyle to a tee.
