That’s often why a space can feel busy, even when every piece is beautiful on its own. The sofa, the artwork, the view, the cabinet, the décor - if they’re all fighting for attention, the room can start to feel a little unsettled.

It can add softness, height and a beautiful sense of comfort - especially when the fabric and finish are chosen to suit the space properly.

For this room, we upholstered the headboard to create a calm, polished backdrop that makes the bed feel more complete and inviting. It’s one of those details that quietly pulls everything together without needing to shout for attention.

A home can be beautifully furnished and still feel a little impersonal.

That often happens when everything is too new, too matched, or chosen all at once. The spaces we love most usually have a bit of history - a piece you’ve had for years, something inherited, something reupholstered, something collected along the way.
