Statement from Divine-Design Interiors/SHANNON
I feel it is important that I speak directly to all existing Divine Design clients.
First and foremost, I want to make one thing absolutely clear: I am not running away, and Divine Design is not a SCAM!
I am aware of the many posts, accusations, photographs and information that have been circulating on social media. I understand that seeing these things can make clients feel worried, frustrated and agitated, especially when they are already waiting for their orders.
However, I would like to ask everyone to please remember that there are always two sides to every story. A lot of what is currently being circulated on social media is misleading and does not tell the full story or reflect the situation from my side.
I am not going to get into arguments or respond to every accusation publicly. When I have previously tried to respond and defend myself or Divine Design, I was immediately blocked from the conversation. Because of this, I would rather put my energy into the people who matter most right now — the clients who are waiting for their couches and getting those orders completed.
I will be taking full responsibility to move this business forward and to where it needs to be when it was started.
My number one priority is to get the outstanding couches out, one by one, day by day.
I will personally be handling the entire process from start to finish. This includes the WhatsApp messages, Facebook and Instagram messages, ordering stock, cutting fabric, stitching, preparing the frames, covering the frames, closing the couches and arranging deliveries.
It is going to be a lot of work, but I am committed to doing everything I can to get through the outstanding orders as quickly as possible without compromising on quality.
I will be working from a new workshop in a discreet location. This is not to avoid clients. It is simply so that I can concentrate on the actual work and get the couches completed as quickly and efficiently as possible without constant interruptions.
There will be NO Showroom until all existing orders have been completed and Divine-Design is back on its Path.
For all existing clients who need to contact me regarding their order, please use the new Divine Design Interiors WhatsApp number: 079 706 9203.
Please save this number in your phone as “Divine Design Interiors” and use this number for all communication going forward.
When messaging, please send your name, surname and invoice number so that I can identify your order quickly and respond as efficiently as possible.
Please do not message the previous WhatsApp number regarding your order. All existing-client communication must now be sent to the new number above.
If you have been waiting for your couch for a long time and currently do not have a couch to use, please also mention this when you message me. Where possible, I will try to assist with a loan couch until your own couch has been manufactured and completed.
I also ask clients to please understand that there are quite a few outstanding orders. I will work through them one by one and provide updates, but constant messages throughout the day make it difficult for me to spend the necessary time in the workshop actually making the couches.
Divine Design will not be accepting any new orders until all existing clients’ couches have been completed and delivered.
The Facebook and Instagram pages will continue to be active, and I will still be posting pictures and updates. This is simply to keep the pages running while I work through the existing orders. No new orders will be taken during this time.
For clients who have already purchased a couch and have concerns about their order, please contact me privately on the new WhatsApp number. We can discuss each situation individually and work towards a resolution.
I understand that there are clients who are extremely frustrated, disappointed and tired of waiting. I understand that. I am not asking anyone to simply trust my words. I want to show through my actions that I am taking responsibility and doing everything I can to put things right.
My focus from this point forward is simple:
Make the couches.
Complete the orders.
Deliver them to the clients.
Do the work properly.
And rebuild Divine Design.
I will be working on this every day, one order at a time, until the outstanding orders have been dealt with.
