We're proud to share our latest retail project, the new Lizzard store at Gateway Theatre of Shopping. Designed to feel as relaxed and inviting as the lifestyle the brand stands for. The intent was to create a space which feels fresh, has character and soul and exudes warmth through a handcrafted touch.

A space inspired by surf culture, created for everyone

We are delighted to have been nominated as a top 3 finalist for the Restaurant Design category at the South African Council of Shopping Centres Retail Design and Development Awards. This was for our Butcher Boys Prime Steakhouse project at Mushroom Farm Shopping Centre, Midrand.

We didn’t take home the win on Monday but being shortlisted among the top three is an achievement that we are extremely proud of. It is wonderful to receive recognition for the creativity, collaboration and dedication that went into creating this incredible space.

A huge thank you to our client, our project team and everyone involved in making this project a reality. Congratulations also to the winner and fellow finalists!

Our studio is currently busy with a new greenfield shopping centre development, set to break ground in 2026.

Located in Cape Town, this 7,500m² centre will be defined by bold industrial lines and complemented by low-slung walkways. The design embraces a sunlit landscaped courtyard at its heart and will bring convenience and community together.
