This magnificent bespoke luxury residence had a simple brief, ‘the home must be filled with peace and light’.
A perfect alignment between the client and their design team, resulted in an extraordinary outcome.
The home from the onset was set to be unusual, with an ultra-modern aesthetic it was carefully proportioned to be discreet from the road. The form designed to slide calmly between its established neighbours and every finish carefully considered for texture and warmth, to be welcoming and create comfort and calm that is unexpected.
The ground floor is intricately tied to the landscape with manicured lawns, and sports and entertainment facilities to rival any six-star resort.
The main circulation spine of the home revolves around a glass atrium with a signature tree in the centre and wherever possible, an offset of green has been incorporated to give the extra sense of luxury and keep the site cool and private. The beautiful flat crown tree was carefully preserved on site, and additional trees planted to create a calm oasis.
The upper story floats quietly over the site, like a sun-drenched cruiser providing shelter and exquisite views. Here again privacy was key and careful shading and screening integrated from concept stages.
Every specialist, contractor, and workman paid careful attention to creating a seamless and accessible home, that has resulted in international excellence in a local context.
