A door is more than a way of moving from one room to another — it can define how a space feels before you’ve even entered it.

For this residence, we designed these custom double doors to do more than simply close off a room. The proportion,scale, materiality and detailing were carefully considered to complement the room you’re about to enter and create a sense of arrival.

When designing interiors, we believe every element should have a purpose — even the things we often overlook.

Good design isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes, it’s about giving the right details the attention they deserve.

A majlis is never just about seating, t’s about the layers of detail that bring it to life. From the intricate laser-cut screens with Arabic calligraphy, to the custom low seating platform finished with laser-cut timber panels — every element was thoughtfully considered.
Soft scatter cushions, finished with tassels and delicate decorative tape, add that final touch of warmth and richness.

A glimpse into our latest project — a dynamic indoor padel destination designed to bring together sport, style and social connection.

From the restaurant and VIP lounge to the padel retail kiosk, every space was carefully considered to create a cohesive and elevated experience. High-gloss marble-look stone surfaces are paired with warm timber elements to introduce richness, contrast and a sense of refined energy throughout the interiors.

The result is a polished aesthetic that feels contemporary, welcoming and effortlessly sophisticated — a space where the excitement of the game meets beautifully curated design.

At Next Coffee - Florida Road, the brief was simple: create a space that feels elevated, contemporary and effortlessly welcoming along the buzz of Florida Road.

We layered natural textures with clean architectural lines — think considered lighting, tactile finishes, balanced contrasts and a layout that encourages both quiet moments and social connection. Every detail, from the material palette to the spatial flow, was intentionally curated to elevate the everyday coffee experience.

NEXT COFFEE ☕️ | Florida Road, Durban

Sharing a first look at our rendered vision for Next Coffee’s Florida Road store — the second coffee shop we’ve had the privilege of designing for our clients, following their Pietermaritzburg location.

This space was carefully planned around flow and functionality, guiding both customer and barista movement with ease, while allowing the experience to feel calm, open and intuitive.
Soft curves overhead echo movement through the space, while layered materiality — glazed tiles, warm timber, brass detailing and gentle greenery — creates depth, warmth and a refined café atmosphere.

These are renders, giving a glimpse into the design language and mood.
