A customer asked for a colour we had never sprayed before.
She sent the paint code, we sprayed it to spec.

Our standard range comes in six colours, but if your home needs something different, we can match it. Just email us with what you have in mind.

A Wednesday at the factory.

Music on, kettle on, lights coming off the line.

We are a small team and we like it that way. Every person in this video knows every product we make.

Happy mid week from all of us in The Midlands

What does coastal quality actually mean?

Put simply, lights that don't rust. Not in salty sea air, and not through a KZN summer of afternoon storms.

Swipe to see what our lights are made of, and why each material earned its place.

If you live near the coast and your current lights are showing their age, this one is for you.

Before any light leaves the factory, it gets checked.

Seals. Glass. Fasteners. Finish. Every single one, by hand.

It is not the glamorous part of the job, but it is the reason we can put a 10-year corrosion warranty on our lights and mean it.

What goes into one Lifetime Lighting fitting.

Fibreglass and aluminium because they don't rust. Brass or stainless steel fasteners because, you guessed it, they don't rust either. Glass because it lasts.

Every step happens under one roof in the KZN Midlands, and every light is checked by hand before it leaves.

Meet some of the women who make Lifetime Lighting

Our factory is run entirely by women, and the business is led by two more. Between them they have hand finished more outdoor lights than we could ever count.

When your light arrives, it has already passed through several of these pairs of hands.

Over the next few weeks you will get to know get to know each of them. Say hello in the comments… they will be reading ;)

Same light. Six personalities.

The Barn Outdoor Wall Light in every one of our standard colours: White, Grey, Charcoal, Black, Heritage Green and Pebble.

Which one would you hang by your front door? Tell us in the comments.

And if none of them suit your home, we spray custom colours too. Just ask ;)

Every light we sell starts here.

A mould, a DMC mix and a team of women in the Midlands who know exactly what they are doing.

No mass production. No shipping containers. Each fitting is made to order, by hand, a few kilometres from where you are reading this.

This is the part of Lifetime Lighting we don’t show you enough, that changes this month!
