Every now and then something comes out of the kiln that makes you go 'wow'. Anneliese brought her friends and family to do a private workshop to celebrate her birthday. One of the things they made was a small botanical print dish. These often turn out beautifully but Anneliese's print took my breath away. The leaf is from a buddleia or butterfly bush and the definition she achieved plus the way the glaze settled in the pattern is gorgeous! These surprises make me keep coming back for more.
