New-Room Design New Room Décor & Design offer an extensive range of Professional Interior Design services. By appointment only

A place for you to come and be free to create your own interiors... With our help and guidance of course. We encourage our clients to get involved in the decor & design process, whether it be choosing fabric colour or choosing a selection of coordinating fabrics & accessories that evoke a feeling of joy & delight... they as the client feel apart of the whole process! At NEW-ROOM DESIGN, we keep it siimple (...yes we do smile a lot!) We create one-offs decor, linen and accessories... mostly on site. We are driven by the need to create new & interesting products, that are not mass produced, but carefully hand crafted and locally made. It matters to us that our products experience a happy life from start to finish. They are produced lovingly in our workshop with care and attention to detail. The reason being, we want our products to 'out-last' and be passed down to future generations.

🏡🔨 From thatch to fabulous!

This home is getting the full works — roof off, walls stripped back, and a whole new vision coming to life!

From new roof sheeting and a complete gut renovation to bespoke cabinetry by Lotza Timba Products Delia Sebba and a brand-new kitchen, plus bathrooms and beautiful interiors, we’re reimagining this home from top to bottom.

With Dean and his team at Taylor Turnkey Solutionstaking care of the building side, and New-Room Design bringing the interiors to life, it’s a true team effort!

There’s a lot of dust, a few big decisions and plenty of excitement ahead… and we haven’t even got to the pretty stuff yet! 😂

Watch this space as we transform this house into something really special. 🤍✨

When you wake up on Wednesday morning & decide that today is the day you add a grass cloth wallpaper to your conversation area, some new art work & that little black and white dog to your sofa 😉

Thank you to our amazing team of wallpaper installers - ( Dr Wallpaper himself , Faisel Dolley & team ) for squeezing me in on such short notice , perks of the job I guess 😉

Nothing better than a quick makeover with wallpaper to add depth and interest to any interior space .

Day in the life of Hugo 🖤

Some afternoons I work from home, and as always, my little shadow (aka our smallest—and laziest—staff member) is right by my side! 🐾

As you can see, I have a cream sofa—normally I’d keep a blanket or throw for Hugo to lie on—but with easy-clean fabrics, life just got so much easier. A quick wipe with a damp cloth and any dirt or marks are gone!

Now I can relax… and clearly, so can he. 😄🛋️

A LITTLE PATTERN. A LOT OF PERSONALITY. 🤍

Who says a bedroom has to be quiet to feel calm?

This space is all about the balance between pattern, texture and colour — from the statement geometric wallpaper to the custom scatter cushions, soft linen-look curtains and layered blue, taupe and neutral tones.

The result? A bedroom that feels collected, comfortable and completely personal.

Because sometimes the smallest details are what make a room feel like home. ✨
