A place for you to come and be free to create your own interiors... With our help and guidance of course. We encourage our clients to get involved in the decor & design process, whether it be choosing fabric colour or choosing a selection of coordinating fabrics & accessories that evoke a feeling of joy & delight... they as the client feel apart of the whole process! At NEW-ROOM DESIGN, we keep it

siimple (...yes we do smile a lot!) We create one-offs decor, linen and accessories... mostly on site. We are driven by the need to create new & interesting products, that are not mass produced, but carefully hand crafted and locally made. It matters to us that our products experience a happy life from start to finish. They are produced lovingly in our workshop with care and attention to detail. The reason being, we want our products to 'out-last' and be passed down to future generations.

Some paintings speak to you instantly, and “Sentimental” ( that’s what we have named her !) was one of those pieces for both my client and I .

We were drawn to its beautiful, expressive colours and the sense of peace within the landscape. What made it even more special was discovering that Belinda had never intended to sell it — she had planned to keep it for herself.

That made it feel even more meaningful. We both knew this was a very special piece, and it has found the most beautiful place in my client’s home.

A painting filled with emotion, memories and meaning — now part of a new story. ❤️

We were so excited today to see the exquisite original Kim Black Kim Black paintings we chose from Kim’s beautiful Italian 🇮🇹 collection, now framed and proudly displayed in our clients’ home.

Each piece captures a little piece of Italy — its colour, architecture, gardens and unmistakable sense of romance. 🇮🇹✨

Seeing the collection come together as a curated gallery wall, beautifully framed and installed, was such a special moment. We absolutely love how the paintings bring character, colour and an artistic story into the space.

This custom upholstered window seat has been finished in a fully outdoor fabric from Hertex Fabrics, making it the perfect choice for spaces where durability, easy maintenance and good design need to work together.

We love how the natural stone base, soft charcoal upholstery and lush planting come together to create a relaxed, welcoming space. 🤍

✨ Custom curtains, made to transform a space

There’s something about the right fabric and finish that can completely change a room.

For this project, we created full-length curtains in a beautiful textured neutral fabric, finished with a relaxed wave of generous folds and paired with a sleek matte-black curtain rod and rings.

The result? Soft, warm and understated — while still making a statement. 🤎

We love how the natural texture of the fabric works alongside the exposed brick, timber, woven pendant lights and clean architectural lines. It adds softness without taking away from the character of the space.

From measuring and fabric selection to manufacture, installation and those final finishing touches — we take care of every detail.
