🍯 FRESH DEMOLD: Raw Honey & Honeycomb Coasters ✨

Satisfying peel back on this demold. There is nothing quite like the feeling of stripping back a silicone mold to reveal pure, liquid gold trapped in time.

For this batch, I didn’t want just a clean, perfect amber aesthetic. I wanted to capture the wild, untamed, sticky magic of a real beehive in its rawest form.

The Delicious Details:

Liquid Gold Gradient: Layered tones of deep amber mimic thick, slow-pouring, unprocessed honey pooling in the geometric cells.

Beeswax Caps: Opaque, creamy off-white speckles give the appearance of freshly harvested, broken wax barriers.

Pollen Pockets: Organic bursts of earthy mustard-yellow and deep orange duplicate natural bee pollen dustings.

Trapped Micro-Bubbles: Intentionally left around the comb edges to replicate the natural aeration of fresh apiary honey.

The result? A hyper-realistic, high-gloss piece of functional art that looks so sweet you’ll want to taste it. Watch how the light hits that golden depth! 🐝👇

We totally get it, when you scroll through your feed and see those massive, crystal-clear ocean tables or intricate multi-layered floral blocks, it’s hard not to fall in love! 🌊🌸

In fact, almost everyone who joins our workshop wants to walk through the door on day one and jump straight into the biggest masterpieces. But behind those flawless videos is a lot of hidden science, patience, and technique that you can't see on camera. 🧪🔬

Resin is a beautiful, unpredictable medium. It requires precise chemical ratios, temperature control, and a whole lot of bubble-busting magic. Jumping into a massive project without the basics usually ends in a sticky, cloudy heartbreak!

We don’t see the world as it is; we see it as we are. 👁️✨

Have you ever noticed how the exact traits that trigger you in someone else are often the very things you refuse to look at in yourself? This is the lens of perception, and it functions like a psychological mirror.

When we lack the courage to face our own deep-seated insecurities, buried anger, or hidden fears, our minds deploy a clever defense mechanism: projection. Instead of doing the heavy lifting of internal healing, we project those unacknowledged shadow sides onto the people around us.

The person hyper-critical of everyone else’s flaws? Often masking a deep-rooted fear of their own inadequacy.

The individual who constantly assumes others have hidden motives? Frequently struggling with their own issues around trust and authenticity.

On social media, this distorted self-perception is magnified tenfold. We curate polished digital identities to outrun our inner turmoil, yet we quick-scrolled right into heavy social comparisons and judgment. We criticize the "inauthenticity" of others while hiding behind our own curated filters.

There is a distinct kind of magic in the 45-minute pre-workshop setup craze. 🛠️🎨

It is a whirlwind of perfectly measuring out pigments, aligning silicone moulds like soldiers, and making sure the workspace is an absolute resin-crafting paradise. Your heart is pumping, the music is playing in the background, and everything is being prepped for pure creativity.

And then... the shift happens. 🧘‍♂️✨

Right before the clock strikes start-time, there is the peaceful pause. The room goes completely quiet. The surfaces are spotless, the resin is waiting, and there’s just a beautiful, still moment of anticipation.

Then, the door opens! 🚪👋

One by one, our amazing workshop attendees arrive. You can feel the energy instantly lift! Everyone is bubbling with excitement and absolutely bursting with fantastic questions: “Can I mix these two colours?” “How long does it take to cure?” “Can we add glitter to this layer?”
Once that first pour begins, we run non-stop! It’s a beautifully chaotic, high-energy sprint of mixing, pouring, popping bubbles, and watching masterpieces come to life right before our eyes.
