Taking a moment for yourself. To become quiet, put the noise and chaos aside, and just be with yourself.

Can you sit without jumping up to do something?
Can you quiet the to-do lists, deadlines and needs of everyone around you?
Can you create without being critical or needing perfection?

When I started pottery classes in 2023, it opened me up to more than simply creating something.

Clay gives you freedom, but it also reacts to you. It cracks. It warps. It doesn’t always turn out the way you imagined.

And maybe that’s part of it.

Learning to slow down, let go of control, and simply enjoy the act of creating.

Mindful making & meaningful living.
