Just B being creative
Creativity is making marvellous out of the discarded. The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. It fashions its own perfect moments out of ordinary ones. Your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love. To Re-love old tired furniture pieces by giving some TLC and adding some colour so that they could have a s
pecial place in someone’s home. For me, I start where I am. Use what I have. My creativity involves breaking out of established patterns to look at things in a different way. I cannot use up creativity, the more I use, the more I have. Creativity is nothing but a mind set free. Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun. I like to say waste isn't waste until we waste it. The life of old furniture comes from the trill of the hunt and the dust is a protective coating for fine furniture. The joy of old furniture comes not only from a great find, but also from that moment when you figure out how to breathe new life into an old piece. Craft is about using the skills you have developed over many years. The time and love that I put into each item is breath-taking and worth every penny. In crafting there are no mistakes, just unique creations.
