Mix materials: Combine crisp sheets with heavier, tactile fabrics like bouclé, cashmere, or a knitted throws.
Plush rugs: Place high-pile rugs underfoot to add instant warmth and comfort to cold laminate or tile floors.
Abundant pillows: Stack Euro pillows and textured lumbar pillows for that quiet, luxurious look and cozy support.

Warm & Moody Lighting.
Swap your cool white lightbulbs for warm, low-temperature bulbs (around 2200K–2700K). Layer your lighting by combining floor lamps, bedside reading lights, and accent lights instead of using a single, harsh overhead fixture.

Wellness-focused design is about moving away from "perfection" and toward alignment. It is the difference between a house that is simply well-furnished and a home that actively restores your energy the moment you walk through the door.

In a residential setting, this relates to four primary pillars:
Environment, Biophilic Connection, Sensory Comfort, and Behavioural Architecture.

The Carné Specialised Design team have moved towards incorporating a Wellness Design philosophy into each new project. During the month of JUNE we will post regular updates on the concept of Wellness Design.
