*Tomorrow morning from ∼6:00 AM through the day: Strong wind gusts up to 100 km/h + heavy rain expected*

This is the strongest wind we’ve seen in a long time. The Deep South is set to be hit hard....

*Please act now:*
1. *Secure everything outside* – garden furniture, trampolines, pots, bins, washing lines, tools, toys. If it can blow away, it will.
2. *Bring pets inside* if possible, and keep them safe.
3. *Park cars away from trees and loose structures.*
4. *Stay indoors* as much as you can. Avoid driving unless absolutely necessary.
5. *If you must drive: be extremely careful around delivery drivers.* Motorbikes, scooters, and small delivery vehicles can be pushed into traffic by these gusts. Watch out for Checkers Sixty60, Takealot, Pick n Pay and other delivery riders.
6. *Check on elderly/neighbours* who may need help securing their homes.

This is not a normal Cape Town southeaster. Loose items will become dangerous projectiles.
