My first memory of baking was when I was 4 years old. I was having a ball of a time sorting through the kitchen cupboards in search of ingredients to create some marvelous treat. I remember gathering up flour, jam and eggs in my tiny arms and unloading them on to my pink plastic table I had set up in the middle of the kitchen. I had decided to make one of my mum's favourites, a jam and coconut tart. I picked out a mixing bowl and set to work. With much muster and know-how I mixed together flour and water. I patted the "dough" into a paper plate, grabbed a handful of jam and added it to my dough. Then I topped my tart with a generous dusting of coconut and finally cracked two eggs right on the top. I was of course not allowed to use the oven and knew mum would have a fit if I attempted to work the appliance unsupervised, so I opted to use the microwave.
I popped it in and pressed start. At the sound of the 'ding' I could barely contain my excitement. I swung open the microwave door grabbed my tart and marched off proudly to the lounge where my parents were seated. I plonked down my jam tart proudly and grinned excitedly as I instructed my dad to have a bite. He smiled at me and bravely ate a piece of uncooked dough. After he exclaimed that it was the tastiest tart he had ever tasted.

Since then I'm glad to boast that my baking skills have improved immensely!!!
Baking is honestly my passion. And it is that passion that prompted me to start . Tiers and Tea is an online bakery ready to bake and cater to your requests. How it works is that you select your treats, and will lovingly prepare your orders for your special events.
It is a pickup service but delivery can be arranged at an extra cost.
