A little nest of painted eggs! 🪺
This weaver’s nest blew out of our tree during some high winds. Fortunately, there were no eggs or baby birds inside. Phew!
I had a few lovely, very round, egg-shaped pebbles and thought it would be fun to paint them and put them in the nest!
Painting little pebbles like these takes some patience. First, I secured them to the table with a little Press Stick, painted the tops and sides with white chalk paint and left them to dry completely. Then turned them over and repeated the process on the other side.
The same process followed with Vespa Green, and finally the spots were painted with watered-down Chocolate Brown to create a more natural, watercolour effect.

A fun little project inspired by something that just fell out of a tree!
