Some beautiful new arrivals this week.

We’ve had a few questions lately about whether we can create a sculpture from a photograph for past pregnancies or for clients who are out of town. The answer is yes. If you’d like to know more about the process, send us a message and we’d be happy to chat.

We also love seeing all of our finishes lined up together. It’s amazing how much each finish can completely change the feel of a piece.

And if you’ve been meaning to book in, we’ve opened up a few last-minute appointments this week to accommodate our updated schedule. 🤍

How beautiful is our newest finish Taupe. A soft, earthy neutral designed to sit beautifully within calm, tonal interiors. Paired with natural textures, warm neutrals and green spaces, it feels effortlessly timeless 🤍

A lot of you may not know this, but Anna started Mistral Studios while pregnant with her first baby after wanting a sculpture made of her journey. Anna’s from the Netherlands, where pregnancy sculptures are as common as a maternity shoot. But after realising she couldn’t find anyone creating them here in Sydney Mistral was born!

So it felt very full circle that with her third baby, she finally got to have her own sculpture made 🤍

Thank you all so much for supporting Anna’s dream and helping make Mistral Studios what it is today. It was so lovely meeting so many of you in the studio today and funny enough, it ended up being a full “no arms” kind of day for the scans with all 4 appointments going for no our more artsy no arms options.

We got some new finishes in too! Cant wait to share with you.

Hi, I’m Anna, the founder of Mistral Studios.

I’m originally from the Netherlands where celebrating pregnancy through sculpture is something you see more often. When I was pregnant with my second baby here in Australia, I wanted to do the same but couldn’t find anyone offering it.

So during maternity leave in 2023, Mistral Studios was born 🤍

What I love most is seeing women reconnect with and appreciate their bodies when they receive their sculpture after their baby arrives.

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the strength, magic, and unique journeys of motherhood.

Every pregnancy, birth, and motherhood journey is different and maternal mental health is such an important pillar of that. When mums are supported, the whole family thrives.

That’s why $50 from every sculpture booked this week will be donated to (Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia) supporting parents and families during pregnancy and the first year of parenthood.

Book by Sunday, March 8, or if you’re already booked for March 9, your sculpture will still contribute.
