Some progress shots of a recent commission. 4 large shot glasses / goblets. The wood is maple (i believe) from an old table leg that we have had sitting around for a while just waiting for a project like this. Still have the stabilising, final sanding and finishing to do, but overall a lovely project and a lot of fun. #

Managed to get some scrap wood turning done and made these handles for bottle openers. I tried some different handle shapes, but they all feel great in the hand. Some fun wood turning for lovely results.

Some new coasters that we recently finished off. The first is stringy bark set in resin and brings to mind the rainforest. The second is a resin river in red gum. A couple of nice little projects.

We were commissioned to make these beer mugs for the 40th birthday of a man who has everything. They are a mix of woods including red cedar, cypress, mango, blackbutt, redwood and tassie oak and hold about 1L of liquid. The mugs were turned, the handles hand carved and the leather strips hold a personalised message. As they were being used for cool liquids, we did seal the inside with resin to ensure that there is no leakage. A really fun project and a product that we will be offering more of.

At the sanding stage of a new end grain cutting board. The wood is a mix of red gums, blackbutt and redwood. We tried for a semi chaotic pattern, that is to say, as little of a pattern as possible. We think it is turning out great so far!
