NOW SELLING:Vintage tall cut crystal vase shaped with flared rim hand blown hand cut facet and signed MOSER in the Secessionist manner of 1915.

In excellent condition for its age this very heavy cut crystal vase is in the Vienna Secessionist manner of of the Wiener Werkstatte of 1915 and this example dates from a revival era of 1980 which also coincides with the second Biedermeier revival period.
In perfect condition it has an etched oval MOSER stamp under the base.

The baluster shape in the Versaille and Medici urn manner with elegant flared top to facet cut foot for stability.
Perfect for long stem roses of tulips.

The height and size of this piece of fine cut crystal by Moser is likely to be a one off rare exhibition piece as it is much larger than those produced at the time.
Usual height available weres 15/20/25cm .

NOW SELLING : Large antique Regency giltwood convex mirror with well carved and water gilt details acanthus scrolls and surmounted by an impressive eagle with outstretched wings. The entire piece is water gilt and retains its original gold leaf patina and real gold finish.

The shaped convex mirror inside a black reeded frame measures 55cm across.
Round convex mirrors of the period showcased the technical skills attained to make optical devices such as bent glass with a perfect magnified reflection . Often the mirror glass was more expensive than the decorated wooden frame.
These butler mirrors also allowed waiting staff to keep an eye on the table without staring directly at it. Hence they would magically appear just in time to refill your glass as required.

NOW SELLING: Antique mahogany Georgian Chippendale chest of five drawers good polish superb quality bracket feet signed by George Kinloch July 1794. All drawers open very smoothly and are nice and clean ready to use. Drawer runners and rails have been serviced to last for many more decades to come. Original Chippendale furniture of the period is highly valued and much sought after. This rare chest is smaller than the usual 18th century large chests so will easily fit into many interiors. The ornate brass handles are with original brass escutcheons. Signed by the maker English Georgian period 1794.

NOW SELLING : Neoclassical antique Biedermeier chest of drawers satin birch carved feet ebony inlay Austrian Empire 1815. Original golden patina french polished finish. The blonde birch facade veneers rise vertically up the three drawer fronts and are enhanced with recessed cabuchon field and arch with ebony string inlay. A recessed arch in the middle drawer is flanked by ebonized columns and bronze lions head handles. The top drawer with diamond recessed panel and ebony inlaid keyholes. The white marble top over three drawers all finished in fine kingwood marquetry and with gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts and handles. All drawers with working locks and key and open smoothly as they should. Each drawer with satinwood, kingwood and marquetry inlay and cross banding in tulip wood and ebony stringing.
