Things here on The Acre have certainly been a little quieter on socials lately, largely due to lots of family moments taken in school break and now as the Festive Season approaches, new puppy, and most of all, I’ve been spending a lot of time experimenting with pottery.
For now, it’s Enjoying life one day at a time, embracing a slower acreage pace, cherishing nature and my surroundings, and exploring the beautiful world of pottery with my hands in clay.
And here’s my latest favourite! Started out as a simple little latte cup but somehow evolved into something a little more special, featuring two of my favourite things: autumn leaves and acorns. 🍂
There are still a few processes to go before it’s complete, but as I’ve been told in the pottery world, don’t get too attached to anything just yet… you never quite know what might happen once it goes into the kiln!
For now, I’m simply enjoying the process, learning as I go and embracing all the little surprises along the way 🤎
All the beautiful real-touch natives I’ve been telling you about have arrived and are safely tucked away, nicely packed and waiting for their time to emerge mixing in with raw natural beauty pieces.
