Tasmanian handmade market featuring Independent designers Launched in November 2012, Kingston Beach Handmade Market presents some of the best of Tasmania’s creative talent in a new venue down south. Situated at the Kingston Beach Hall just five minutes walk from sand and surf, the KBHM intends to bring together an eclectic mix of local artists, designers, craftspeople, growers and gourmets. With a focus on high quality handmade items and the freshest local produce, KBHM will be an opportunity to experience a family friendly day out while supporting local, independent makers and producers. A short and easy drive from Hobart’s CBD, a visit to the KBHM will offer an inspiring escape from the city and give residents of Kingborough a new chance to enjoy a market close to home. Buskers and performers will provide live entertainment throughout day and there will be plenty of free parking close by. Located at 20 Beach Road, Kingston Beach, KBHM will accommodate both indoor and outdoor stalls and will operate from 10am to 3pm.

Ally has a huge range of ceramics, big and small but I love the little bud vases and pots the most. Ally Wood Pottery will have gift boxes available on November 8th and platters and dishes and lots of hearts, christmas decorations too. Time to get some Christmas shopping done and Tasmanian handmade is definitely the right way to go. Support local business first.

To celebrate our 14 years of the market we will be giving away a fabulous Gift Basket filled with products donated by the stallholders. Also two market money vouchers to spend at the market at one or more of the stalls. Just fill in a raffle ticket on your way through the door. Easy....

The very talented baker Jacqui, has recently returned from cooking school in Paris. l'amandier is known for it's Italian and French recipes and Jacqui baked the most incredible tarts last month. Eye popping, mouth watering, delicious combinations. Jacqui has gone all out for our Birthday celebration and is baking a selection that will please all.
Check out the divine vegan chocolate and raspberry cake.

The music for our 14 year Birthday market will be performed by Melanie and Jason. Two of the members of Barefoot Nellie The duo will be playing a range of traditional mountain music and Americana.
The market is on Sunday November the 8th from 10 until 3.
Have a bit of a jig while you explore the market for gifts, Christmas presents and precious pieces you just have to have.

Very happy that David and Michelle with Phoenix Creations (Artist-David Rauenbusch) are joining us with their renown spoon work.
David, a natural spoon carver and Michelle, painter and decorator of spoons and jewellery. There is a huge range of eating spoons, scoops, utensils, bowls and the wood used is green, salvaged, vintage and local.
The market is open from 10 until 3pm Nov, 8th.

It's the market's 14th Birthday on Sunday November the 8th.
WOW, a huge thank you for the community support, customers, visitors and the wonderful variety of stallholders who have turned up every month over all the years. Oby and I are so grateful. There will be a Gift Basket, cash market vouchers to be won on the day. Heaps of great stallholders, art, craft, food, plants and live music.
