A few of our new bottle babies now available!

I can not believe we are now in November!! Wow time flys by!

I do hope everyone at least enjoyed one day off over the long weekend if they didn’t get the whole weekend off! I’ve spent some time creating/working, a day trip to visit two of my sisters whilst delivering wedding flowers to the NW, collecting beautiful native flowers while there & visiting a market some of my market buddies were showcasing at!
Today will be working on a wedding!

We are very busy creating for upcoming weddings, stock for our studio & website plus we have a couple of big markets coming up this month and also Makers Nest pop up shop will soon be opening!! Keep an eye out for these dates coming soon!!

~Wildflower~

Gorgeous dried cottage garden flowers in pretty pastels arranged into a quality pink ceramic pot. This is one of our favourites we recreate over & over, always very similar but slightly different.

One of our custom arrangements created this week based off another arrangement with a few changes!
‘Rosie’ was created for Lumi Haven in Hobart and will be used in their branding photos! Check out their beautiful candle range showcasing this weekend at the Tas Craft Fair Deloraine on the Urban Soap Co.stand and give their socials a follow!

Wedding favours…

These tiny posies, all 75 of them, headed out yesterday for an upcoming wedding & will be placed on the serviettes along side a chocolate dressing the dinner plate and covering wedding favours at the same time!
Such a lovely look!

It’s a Good thing I don’t charge labour, they took 10 hours to create!! Sounds crazy I know!
I don’t rush, snip and throw things together I very carefully select each stem piece & ensure each tiny stem intertwine to create the same fullness, shape and sizing. The tiny starflowers I used with the baby breath have very thin stems and tiny flower heads so are quite delicate.
Time doesn’t come into it but perfection of the end product does!

I will look forward to a photo of the plate layout.

🍃A LITTLE ABOUT OUR POTS AND VASES WE USE…
Apart from choosing which gorgeous florals to create with, choosing the vessel to create into is also a big part of the design process & also adds to the texture, shape and beauty of the end design.
Using quality pots and vases adds significantly to the end cost of our arrangements but I do prefer a quality
Vessel and always on the lookout for quality unique pots even the odd vintage one!
In our small pot/vase range we use a collection created by a local launceston ceramicist which I love! I love the pots and love supporting another local creator!
Also in our small range we use a budget vase so we can also offer a budget friendly option.
If we have two arrangements that look similar in size with significantly differing costs it will be either the quality or cost of the pot used or the type of florals used!
A LITTLE ADDED NOTE… when creating a custom for you we are also happy to create into your own vase or pot!

~Dahlia Rose~

This arrangement is a tall 74cm, but filled with gorgeous dried dahlias and roses, it also has a 360 view so with a view from all angles may be placed as a centrepiece. A lovely statement piece to add to home or business decor!
