Careful cutting & installing on site today. The texture is wonderful, it’s had one coat of so as to protect it & the tiniest bit of white in the coating so it doesn’t yellow.

Hoop pine makes a great wall finish, it’s warm, natural & beautiful.

The site is set up along grid lines of fluro string, from these lines we can see where new walls will be located.

The footprint can be easily seen. In this case, we’re able to see just how much is being contained within the small footprint, how much is dedicated al fresco & how much outdoor area has been retained.

When the aim is to disappear into the surrounds, it’s a good challenge, especially with 2 storeys.

Conversely, this build has its own character even though it’s built with recycled materials referenced from the original structure that sat here, a horse stable.

It’s also a celebration of its surrounds so the journey to the upper level, in the tree tops is a fun one.

The weather behaved, Belle the style master, worked her magic & a team of stealthy workers from & pulled it together, big thanks to Megan, Jo, Penny, Estelle & Georgia.
