Overhead lighting is definitely the best way to flatten those details and finishes you paid good money for. 😩

Count how many ambient lights you have in your space right now and let me know the number 💡

Nobody asks why the walls are greige, but everyone asks why the walls are green. That's not taste, that's habit. Neutral is a decision like any other, and it deserves the same scrutiny as the bold option.

Worth asking what your rooms would say if they weren't playing it safe.

Simply aesthetic I mean 💃

A bedroom should feel like an exhale.

Warm timber panelling grounds a palette of grey, and teal, colours that could easily clash but instead feel entirely calm together. It's a room built for rest, while showcasing true personality that matches the owner's identity.

The most personal rooms in a home rarely need an audience.

A palette this rich doesn't happen by accident.

Deep teal marble, textured velvet and warm timber are tested together long before they ever meet in a finished room. Every swatch on this board earned its place and it's creating form for our next project.

This is where a project finds its personality.

Warning: this kind of cosy has been known to cause cancelled plans, ignored phone calls and one too many "nah, I'm just going to stay in" nights. Side effects may include never wanting to leave your own lounge room again and ending up always being the host among your friends group. Worth the risk?

The view is always part of the design brief.

Brushed rose gold tapware and a warm stone benchtop hold their own, but it's the wall of glass looking out onto the treetops that makes this kitchen feel like it belongs exactly where it sits. Good design always responds to its setting.

With a view like that no one would mind hand washing the dishes.

I have no words to how special this bar turned out.

Botanical wallpaper, a graphic checked floor and an overall decoration that makes people want to stay for a second round. It's proof a small footprint can still make a big impression.

Good design finds the drama in the details.

Some rooms don't have a roof.

A plunge pool set into natural stone, with a bushland view rather than a fence, turns an outdoor moment into one of the most considered spaces on the property. The setting does half the work.

The best outdoor design borrows from what's already there.
