A new Brisbane City apartment is ready for sale ✨

With those incredible city views doing plenty of the talking, we kept the furniture modern and sophisticated, with just enough colour to give the apartment some personality.

And of course, the star had to be our new ‘Revvy’ sofa from . With a name like that, how could we not? 😂

The beautiful deep olive green of the sofa became our starting point for the rest of the styling, pulling complementary tones, textures and finishes through the apartment to create a cohesive look from room to room.

A little colour can go a long way when styling an apartment for sale, especially when it helps create a home that feels warm, memorable and inviting.

Mixing antiques, bold artwork and modern furniture can look incredible… but there’s definitely an art to getting the balance just right.

In our Toowong project, our clients already owned beautiful timber antiques, colourful artwork and lots of pieces they’d collected over the years. We didn’t want to compete with any of that by adding more detail.

Instead, we went in the opposite direction.

We chose mostly white furniture with simple shapes and soft curves, giving the eye somewhere to rest amongst all that colour and character. The modern pieces also create a lovely contrast against the more detailed timber antiques, rather than trying to match them.

That’s really the trick with an eclectic interior. Not everything needs to be from the same era, style or colour palette. It just needs enough visual balance so that it feels intentional.

Our latest interior design project is finally complete ✨

Some family friends have downsized to the beautiful new Monarch Residences in Toowong, right on the Brisbane River. With a big gum tree just outside their balcony, birds in the trees and the rowing teams screaming past in the afternoons, it’s a pretty special spot to call home.

For the interiors, we had a beautiful collection of antiques, artwork and colourful decor pieces that our clients have collected over the years to work with.

We kept the new furniture mostly white, modern and simple, with soft curves that sit beautifully alongside their more detailed timber pieces. There’s even a little nod to Art Deco style in some of the shapes.

The result feels calm and sophisticated, but still colourful, interesting and full of personality. Very much like the people who live here 🤍

We're so excited to be starting another project in Brisbane's beautiful Fish Lane precinct.

This is actually the second apartment we've had the opportunity to work on in this building, and this one has so much potential.

While the apartment already has a lovely, light-filled feel, it's a little too stark against our client's textured and darker artwork collection. Our goal is to introduce richer textures, warm timber tones and more thoughtful furniture planning to create a home that feels inviting without losing the client's personality.

One of the things we're most excited about is designing several custom cabinetry pieces throughout the apartment, adding warmth, character and practical storage solutions that make the most of every space.

One of our favourite parts of this project wasn't buying something new... it was celebrating what our client had already spent years collecting.

She has an incredible art collection, each piece with its own story, so we wanted to give it the attention it deserved rather than scattering it throughout the house.

By grouping her beautiful neutral and monochrome pieces together down the hallway, we created a gallery-inspired arrival that immediately catches your eye as you walk through the home.

To complete the space, we added a classic white Hamptons console from . It gives the artwork a place to land, creates a welcoming arrival point for guests and helps the hallway feel just as beautiful and curated as the rest of the home.

Not everyone is downsizing... and that's exactly what made this project so special.

Our client moved from a multi-storey inner-city apartment into a larger family home, not because they needed more stuff, but because they wanted more space for the people they love.

A place where the kids can stay over. Where the grandchildren have their own space. Where family dinners can turn into long afternoons together.

There's actually growing research showing that staying socially connected, especially through meaningful relationships with family and grandchildren, is linked to better wellbeing and quality of life as we get older. And honestly, that's what this home is all about. 💛

Rather than starting from scratch, we worked with many of our client's existing furniture pieces and layered in new textures to make the rooms feel warm and inviting. Cane furniture, soft linen fabrics and natural jute rugs brought everything together without losing the character of the pieces they already loved.

A home should grow with you, whether that means downsizing, upsizing or simply making better use of the space you have. This one is ready for many years of family gatherings, sleepovers and memories.

Pullenvale Residence | Part 9

The final room in this project is one of everyone's favourites from this project... the nursery💚

Designed to grow with the family, this spacious room combines timeless finishes with playful details. A beautiful woodland wallpaper creates a calming feature wall, giving the child years of fun trying to spot the different animals, while pale blue wall panelling adds character and ties in beautifully with the home's French Provincial style.

One of our favourite touches came from some creative thinking. Rather than letting the leftover wallpaper go to waste, we turned it into framed artworks, creating a unique gallery wall that feels personal to the space.

A room designed for little moments, growing imaginations and plenty of memories to come.
