We have one spot left in our November Watercolour Series. The is the last series for 2026 so if you've had any doubt, there's no time like the present. Better late than never, here's our November 2026 Calendar. Our focus this month is on Crafting community. We've recently had requests from local community groups for handmade items - 50 Santa Sacks for the Port Macquarie Community Centre, crochet/knitted butterflies to comfort individuals who have lost a loved one in a road accident for Hannah's Blue Butterflies, and help dressing 50 Barbie dolls by Christmas for Aussie Battlers. I think this is a great opportunity to come together as a community and transform our donated craft resources into something meaningful. It's also a great way to share skills and fight against the loneliness epidemic. So, I encourage you to join us for a Crafting Community Session or any of our classes or social groups this month and next month.

We have 5 places available in our final Beginning Watercolour Painting series of the year. This series will run every Wednesday in November from 10:30am to 12:30pm. The course is $60 and missed classes are non refundable. Bookings must be made via our website.

I love our shop. Today we had a gorgeous woman donate two amazing travel watercolour kits. These kits are stunning. The have little wooden paint palettes, a wrist band towel, little instruction manual and gorgeous paints and paper. It makes me want to take up watercolour. You can imagine my surprise when I google lens'd the kits and found out that they retail (on sale) for 2 for $105!!!! Well, you can snag quite the deal at $20 each. It'll be first in, best dressed.

Have you missed Community Crafts this past two weeks? After a much needed holiday, the op shop will be open again today from 10am to 2:30pm and will be open 10am to 12:30pm the rest of the week! Come on in to check out our amazing selection of destashed arts & crafts supplies. We're located in Shops 5 & 6 in Colonial Arcade, Port Macquarie.
