𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 | 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹

The Dezign team is pleased to have kicked off at Saint Kilda Beach Hotel, with the project now moving into delivery.

Following a period of planning and design development, the refurbishment is underway and the team is now on site.

Working in partnership with Erdi Group, this project comprises a full refurbishment of the hotel, repositioning the asset to a new brand on completion and elevating the overall guest experience.

Given the prominence of the location, the design approach has been carefully considered to ensure the hotel responds to its coastal setting while delivering a product aligned to market expectations.

With works now commenced, we look forward to progressing the project and sharing updates as it takes shape.

Dezign was pleased to be part of and participate in AHICE South East Asia and Design Inn Asia in Singapore last week.

With more than 600 industry leaders in attendance, the event provided a great forum for conversations around the future of hospitality, investment, and hotel design across the region.

Mike Watson joined a panel discussion on Hybrid Hospitality and the Design Habits We Need to Rethink, contributing to the discussion around how hotels are evolving and how design needs to respond to increasingly flexible guest expectations.

The corridor transformation at Vibe Hotels Melbourne is moving well with the team midway through the 23-level refurbishment.

The team ensured all procurement was underway in late 2025, ensuring the project stayed on track for a May 2026 completion.

We’re pleased to share the completion of The Old Commodore Hotel, a North Sydney institution revitalised under the stewardship of Epochal.

Designed by Paul Kelly Design, the project draws on the hotel’s maritime heritage and connection to Billy Blue, delivering a contemporary pub experience grounded in character and history.

Dezign delivered the procurement and custom furniture package across the venue, shaping the main bar, dining areas, terrace, and lower-level spaces. The furniture strategy balances durability, comfort, and flexibility to support a high-volume hospitality environment.

Excited to share that site works have now commenced at Mercure Clear Mountain as the project transitions into its next phase as Peppers Clear Mountain.

Following several months of planning and design development, demolition is now underway and the project has formally moved into delivery.

Good to have Gemma McCourt on site with the team to mark the start of works (and well done to Gemma for the symbolic wall breaking).

Working in partnership with Mandala Hotels & Resorts, this refurbishment focuses on repositioning the property, elevating the guest experience, and aligning the hotel with the Peppers brand while responding to its hinterland setting.

With construction now underway, we look forward to progressing the works and relaunching the hotel in mid-2026!

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗲

We’re proud to share the completion of the multimillion-dollar refurbishment at The Sebel Melbourne Flinders Lane, delivered for Accor Vacation Club under an intensive four-month programme in a live hotel environment.

The project reimagined all 60 suites with a contemporary urban chic aesthetic and elevates the guest experience across the lobby and public areas with new finishes, lighting, refined detailing, and a replanned arrival.

Our integrated methodology enabled complex structural, fire and services upgrades to be completed while the hotel remained fully operational. A true testament to the capability and commitment of our delivery team.

We’re excited to announce that Stage 1 of a multistage refurbishment at Avondale Golf Club has officially kicked off, marking the beginning of a new chapter for this renowned club.

Over recent months, our Interior Design team has crafted a design vision that honours Avondale’s heritage while introducing refined contemporary elements. By thoughtfully layering modern finishes, warm textures, and elevated details onto the Club’s existing character, we’re creating spaces that enhance both comfort and experience for members.

With construction now underway, we look forward to bringing this to life as we move through the various areas of the club.

We remain on track for completion in early November, perfectly timed ahead of the busy December and January period for Accor Vacation Club members.

Step inside Luc-San — a neighbourhood French Izakaya in Potts Point by renowned chef Luke Mangan.

Hidden away on Penny’s Lane, Potts Point, this moody 90-seat restaurant blends warm textures, refined detailing, and a statement mural, all curated to create an atmosphere as memorable as the menu.

Dezign were proud to partner with Pro-invest Group on the procurement and fitout, working alongside Five Foot One Design on the interior design.
