STUDENT FILMS SCREENING AT KATKUS SHOP
In August 2026, Katkus Shop — a local creative space supporting artists and creative initiatives — hosted a short film screening and opened a call for student submissions.
We’re especially happy to share that 8 original films created by our GDM students were selected and screened, alongside works by other students and young creatives.
Together with the Katkus Shop team, Lab Assistant Varvara Šešlija and Teaching Assistant Hamza Makić also took part in the selection process, helping choose the films that were presented at the screening.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to see their ideas and stories come to life on screen and be shared with a wider creative community.

The films were created as part of our Video Production courses, under the mentorship of Prof. Dženan Medanović, Sabrina Begović-Ćorić and Teaching Assistant Hamza Makić, as well as the 2D Animation course, mentored by Džana Torlak-Hulusić and Lab Assistant Varvara Šešlija.
