Stamping keychains is a little bit of a workout since I’m doing it manually! I have a longer bar on my arbor press to give me more leverage (as you can see by the movement on my workbench 😆), but it’s still needs my muscle power. 💪🏻

Have you ever installed a snap or a rivet incorrect and wanted to remove it? These nipping pliers have saved many projects for me. It usually doesn’t take long to remove the hardware and these pliers can be found in most hardware stores. Lots of tools for other jobs can be used in leatherwork. Tell me one you’ve used!

I’m a big fan of tools that can do more than one job.

I picked up this little press for around $100, and with different dies I can use it for grommets, rivets and snaps.

It takes up very little space and saves me from needing a separate tool for every little job.

Definitely one of those tools that earns its keep around here.
