Three Glass Classes are coming your way in November and December.

First, the well loved Scenes Class!

Glass Class - Scenes

Join me, to have fun and create some fused glass pieces. I bring everything you need to play and create one or two little art scenes. These can be sun-catchers, nightlights, tea-lights, or pretty little art works. The glass is taken away, fused, and returned to Black Creek CC for you to pick up. Bring a friend and have some fun!

Quiet here. Summer to Fall is lovely but soon heading on vacation. Just realized my ring is a bit like an iconic symbol of the country I will be visiting. A bit of a stretch, but (if you don’t already know) can you guess where?
My stainless steel, resizable rings are always a hit. 💕 See you at a November market, with lots of rings and other goodies to choose from!

I have just updated my stock at the d’Esterre House Gift Shop. Some lovely new bubble pieces in there! They are carrying my earrings, pendants and now nightlights. The little shop is open M-F 10-1, so pop over on your lunch hour (you can also get lunch). You do not have to be a member. The shop carries handmade gifts made by d’Esterre members and has the best prices in town. Find d’Esterre on the Left , at the turn down to Marina Park in Comox.

I was driving by a house the other day, and there were three different flags on the fence. It got me thinking of when I was growing up in Gold River, so many kids had parents who had come from other countries. I felt a little sad that pretty much all of my grandparents and great grandparents were born in Canada. It seemed so boring at the time. Really, I was so LUCKY to know my grandparents and many of my great grandparents as well! If you were to put up flags for your parents/ grandparents/ great-grands (however far back you want to go), what flags would they be?
