I was driving by a house the other day, and there were three different flags on the fence. It got me thinking of when I was growing up in Gold River, so many kids had parents who had come from other countries. I felt a little sad that pretty much all of my grandparents and great grandparents were born in Canada. It seemed so boring at the time. Really, I was so LUCKY to know my grandparents and many of my great grandparents as well! If you were to put up flags for your parents/ grandparents/ great-grands (however far back you want to go), what flags would they be?
