💚 One of my most unique creations, this ring began with complete trust from a client who wanted something deeply personal and entirely non-traditional for her birthstone ring. Together, we explored tension-set concepts before the idea of the curve emerged — softening the structure while creating movement throughout the design.

The emerald sits protected within the flow of the ring, allowing it to be worn every day while still honouring the delicacy of the stone itself. At the time, I was immersed in designing many of my “rain rings,” and you can still see those signature scattered diamonds falling gently across the surface like droplets of light ✨💎

What I love most is the balance this piece holds — sculptural yet wearable, practical yet artistic, modern yet quietly romantic. A ring designed not just to be admired, but lived in.

Sunshine in a bottle ✨🌺🥥

This Glowing Dry Body Oil was inspired by centuries-old Polynesian beauty rituals that used Monoï de Tahiti — a luxurious infusion of tiaré blossoms and coconut oil once used to protect skin and hair from the sun, saltwater, and the elements. The result? Skin that looks nourished, luminous, and impossibly soft.

Blended with monoï, kukui, cherry seed, and tomato seed oils, this formula deeply hydrates dry, flaky skin while helping improve the look of firmness and glow. Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it melts in beautifully without feeling heavy or greasy.

Designed back in 2007, this custom starfish necklace still feels just as special today ✨

Crafted in 18K white and yellow gold, the pendant was designed with pavé and bezel-set diamonds flowing through an ocean-inspired starfish form, suspended from a three-strand two-tone cable chain. The mix of natural yellow, orange yellow, and white diamonds was carefully arranged to create warmth, movement, depth, and light — echoing the organic texture and skeletal beauty found in nature beneath the sea. 🌊

But one of my favourite details is something most people would never notice at first glance.

Hidden within the back of the pendant is an abstract coral-inspired “40,” subtly worked into the design to celebrate the client’s 40th birthday. A personal detail woven quietly into the piece — symbolic, intentional, and completely unique to them. 🪸

These are the details I’ve always loved most about custom jewelry. The hidden stories. The meaning beneath the surface. The artistry that turns a piece into something deeply personal and impossible to replicate.

Even after all these years, this design still reflects so much of what inspires me most about creating. ✨

But beyond their rich colour, emeralds are one of the few gemstones whose natural inclusions actually help gemologists identify their origin and authenticity. Every stone forms under intense pressure deep within the earth, making each one completely unique in tone, texture, and depth.

ome rings carry more than design inspiration behind them — they carry memories, stories, and people who leave a lasting mark. 💙

This ring was created together with my nephew Ty, whose creativity, artistic eye, and passion for design continue to live on through the history of Concept Jewelry Design. He was deeply loved, deeply respected, and remains deeply missed.

Inspired by a custom vehicle, every detail of this piece was intentional. The rare blue zircon was selected to perfectly reflect the car’s limited-release dual-tone blue paint colour, while the flowing lines and black rhodium detailing were inspired by custom wheel rims and the feeling of speed in motion.

The graduating diamonds transition from darker tones into bright white — symbolizing movement, acceleration, and light.

A piece rooted in artistry, symbolism, and memory. One I will always be incredibly proud of. ✨

This piece also earned an Honourable Mention in the Canadian Jewellers Excellence in Design Competition, highlighting both its craftsmanship and the story embedded in every detail.
