Currently in design, East Shore reimagines this existing cottage to respond to an evolving shoreline.

After visiting the site, we’re working closely with the municipality to rebuild on the original footprint, while minimizing environmental impact by avoiding invasive rock blasting. Stay tuned for more updates.

A modern, renovated home for every day living.

Our clients wanted a warm, welcoming space to raise their kids, entertain their family and friends, and finally settle in to a place to call home.

This project focuses on clarity and warmth to improve flow and make a well-connected home. Rich walnut mixed with leathered granite introduce contrast and texture. The staircase acts as a design feature that carries these elements throughout.

Here's a first look at East Shore, our newest cottage project!

We recently visited the lakefront property up in Coldwater to get a first look at the natural features that will influence our design process. For this project, we're keeping environmental impact in mind when making decisions and seeking municipal approval.

Take a look at how we're blending old with new!

A porte‑cochère is more than a covered, drive‑through entrance, but a moment of arrival that intentional and grand. With an element this detailed, regular site visits are essential for ensuring the vision translates seamlessly from drawing to built form.

Most custom home delays in Toronto don’t happen during construction. They happen much earlier, during the Committee of Adjustment process.

It starts with a zoning certificate, which requires a completed design submitted to the city. The city then reviews the application and identifies any zoning variances needed. If changes are made, the application goes back through review, which adds more time to the process. Once approved, the project moves to a hearing date with the Committee of Adjustment. This process follows fixed timelines that cannot be sped up.
