Wedding floor plans are the foundation of every luxury wedding we create.

Spencer’s at the Waterfront came with its own architecture already in place, window lines, ceiling height, a floor plan with a direction it wanted to move in. So we didn’t layer drama on top of it. We designed with it.

The draping followed the window line. The king’s tables followed the floor plan’s own direction. Nothing here was placed. Everything was aligned.

This is The Spatial Method™ at work. Foundation First. Then Clarity. Then Spatial Architecture. Then Experience. Aesthetics come last, always, because they were never the plan. They’re what’s left over when the plan is right.

16 years. Countless spaces. But this moment is always everything. 🕊️ When you live and breathe spatial event design, a room reveal is so much more than showing off the space. It’s the culmination of passion, precision, and purpose.

To honor our couple, we broke the mold at Spencer’s and configured a completely unprecedented floor plan built entirely around their vision the space and the guest experience. It is the first time this layout has ever been executed, and it has officially set a new standard.

One of the biggest misconceptions in our industry is that planning is about booking vendors and creating timelines.

Those things matter.

But they are only part of the picture.

A planner manages logistics.

A designer shapes aesthetics.

A coordinator keeps the day moving.

Each role serves a different purpose.

Sometimes one professional wears multiple hats.

Sometimes they don’t.

The important thing isn’t the title.

After 16 years I’ve learned.

The biggest mistake couples make isn’t overspending.

It’s budgeting in the wrong order.

Most couples start with inspiration.

A Pinterest board.

An Instagram Reel.

A dream venue.

A luxury tablescape.

Then they try to make the numbers fit.

That’s backwards.

Here’s the order.

Start with your total investment.

Not what you hope to spend.

What you’re actually comfortable investing.

Then build your guest list.

This is the single biggest factor affecting your budget.

Every additional guest increases more than just your catering bill.

It affects your tables.

Your chairs.

Your linens.

Your florals.

Your stationery.

Your rentals.

Your staffing.

Your transportation.

Your venue requirements.

More guests almost always means more cost.

Then choose your venue.

Not because it’s beautiful.

Because it supports the experience you want to create.

The venue should resemble your vision.

If your dream wedding is modern, architectural and intimate, don’t choose a rustic barn simply because it’s available.
